The region in the Caribbean as seen in the movies, the Caribbean region is an archiphelago and are bounded by various nation-states. It is a preferred route for ship cruises because of its diverse island groups, perfect weather, clear beaches, wonderful people, and perfect environment to relax and enjoy vacation. Many nation-states are located in this area and are surrounded by the Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico; North, Central and South America bound the region. Many islands in the region are territories and are former colonies for different countries like the United Kingdom, France, Spain, the Netherlands, and the United States.
